On the topic of “getting some of our measures during lame-duck session”, I am seeing some speculation (on other sites) that there is a chance these measures getting discussed during that session. I know these are just educated guesses, but it’s encouraging. see following:

Hello,
Don't like EB-3 dates...but looking at EB-2 dates, does this mean that from now on we will see only forward movement in EB-2 I/C dates?
If the first month of the new year didn't retrogress, would every month see a movement of week or two? Or keeping in great USCIS tradition, this is just another 'fluke'? ;)
Thus far approvals have been at a steady pace--people are reporting GC directly in mail box without any formal cpo/approval/welcome mails too. Hopefully spill-over visas have been alloted to as mant pre-adjudicated petetions and they will clear out all approvable cases in 04 and EB2 dates will only forward. By Q3/Q4, it may cross-over well in.to 06

Thank you very very much fightnow and gsc999 for pushing this forward. As soon as we have confirmation of date and time and location/route, I will send out newsletters to all CA, NV, AZ and OR members who wish to participate. This is going to be good.
Also, I will email all Bay area newspapers and tech periodicals that legal skilled immigrants are having to run rallies on the street instead of designing the routers and the next iPhone.

Did any one discussed this with an attorney. May be a conference call with Mr. Rajiv Khanna ? Can anyone from IV core member respond what is their take on such a class action. Will we have the support from IV if such lawsuit is filled.

My case was received by NSC on Jun 25th. No word yet. My I-140 is from Texas. Very worrying situation,

How long you guys think it will take to get EAD and AP for June1st fillers..

Late last week, they've posted the dates as of June 15th. Unfortunately the dates have gone back like crazy (especially NSC).

Once you abandon H1B and get canadian PR, you will need visitor visa to come back to US. My friend did that he comes quite often to visit us.

I do not understand why people spend their energy in coming up with some lame ideas. Just because you suffer does not mean that your fellows have to suffer, what is the point of being a sane individual with that kind of thought process.
There are people who come here on all kinds of visas F1, H1, L1 and like this country and stay back and need a green card for convenience. Students who came here want priority over people who came on H1B. It makes sense from their point of view.
Similarly people on H1B who got stuck in several stages and had to change the company have their own point of view.
How bout having a lame rule saying that GC for people with I.Q of 140 and above?

How bout having a lame rule like if you have a family you will be penalized by putting you at the end of the line for GC?
The list can go endless..
Worry less about who is cutting the line and getting ahead and please concentrate and put your energy and come up with good ideas and showing what we are really capable of..

Hi Guys
My date is not current but I understand the frustration here. However I beleive USCIS is under severe pressure to reduce the backlogs and not waste any numbers this year....so they are trying to exhaust them as and when they can...in that scenaio I guess lower hanging fruits are getting picked.
But on the bright side as I see it as more and more people get their GCs its a smaller line and the officers should be able to get to everyone's file in due course.
I completely believe the system should be FIFO but then don't you think that will be too logical for the USCIS......
Hopefully if they are able to get a lot of people out of the way they should go back to normal processing from October when new numbers are available and the pressure is somewhat less.....
Again above is my theory. I hope everyone gets their green cards soon and the line keeps moving.

When you send flowers EB2 gets retrogressed No will care if ever we have to send flowers as a united group... Are you going to address that as Eb2 Retrogressed campaign ?
