AS my PD is current july2003 EB2 and i have my AP documents.. can i travel to india for 1 month ??? as in case my I-485 is approved when i am in india what will happen to my status?

she will be on EOD once she quit the Job. You may not have to file COS to H4.
My wife quit the job last year she was on H1. and we didn't get any RFE till date..
She also went to India and came back on AP this year...

Hello
I am working on H1 and my current H1 petition is valid until April 6th 2011.
My visa (stamp) expired in Nov 2009.
I have my new H1 extension petition approved from April 7th 2011- 2014( same employer).
I am going to India early Feb and will going to Hyd/Chennai for visa stamp.
In the visa appointment it is asking for my petition number: which one should I give current or the new extension one. I would like to have my H1 stamped until 2014 so that I can avoid additional trip to consulate.
Please help.

Last month dates were 7 Jan 2005.
This month dates are 22 Jan 2005.
Still the reported Jan 2005 approvals(, IV ) etc are less than 5.
Not sure whats happening to these

And regarding problems at POE... its not totally true but at the same time you cannot
rule out totally also.
so basically keep all the required documents like your employer letter... and
if possible your client letter showing you have job when you come back and
also your recent paystubs.

It seems like ages since the federal government transformed the rules on when and how foreign citizens apply for visas to enter the United States. I appreciate if someone could answer the following question.
I am a Java Developer and I think my company would have filed my labor as a Programmer Analyst. Now I am planning to change my career into SAP functional analyst in financials. I even got a offer from a client and I think their job title and description definitely different.
1) Once I leave my current employer, should I need to work on same job profile or only at the time of GC interview I should have a offer from any employer with same job title & description? (assuming GC will take another 2 or 3 years for me to get and If I work these 2 or 3 years on different job title & description and produce a offer letter with same job title & description from a new employer at the time of GC interview)
If later is correct, then I can produce a offer letter with same job title & description from a new employer.

I filed paper based AP at Nebraska service center and got AP in 5 weeks. Pretty painless except paying them 300 for 2 pieces of paper is outrageous.

Hi guys,
I am adding my wife's AOS application to my own pending AOS application. Because of whatever reasons we couldn't file our apps together earlier.
I notice that I need to give my wife's Alien registration no (ARN) at a couple of places in the application package, such as in the I-485 form, G-325A form, and at the back of the photographs.
Needless to say, my wife does not have an ARN. I was allocated an ARN when my I-140 got approved. Since she is just a derivative beneficiary, she does not have an ARN yet.
So what should I do about these columns in the form. Should I leave them blank, or should I fill them up with my own ARN.
Please help

While there are some politicians genuinely concerned about the subject of immigration who are backing anti-immigration laws because they believe in the cause, there are many more who have jumped on the anti-immigration bandwagon to score political points (John McCain - I'm talking to you). I wonder if politicians in small towns that don't have a lot of fat in their budgets are going to re-evaluate the costs and benefits when they have to explain to constituents why they have to pay hefty fees to plaintiffs in lawsuits like this one in a small town in Nebraska. I got my 140 approved.Is there any deadline date like with in 90 days i have to apply for 485 or else it will expire.I am single so i dont want to get in to any trouble by applying for 485.
